Who must report prescription data to the MPDR? All Montana licensed community and mail order pharmacies are required to report daily, controlled substance prescriptions or zero reports, to the MPDR. Institutional pharmacies, including critical access hospitals, are not required to report to the MPDR when a controlled substance is administered within the facility or zero reports, but must report controlled substance medications provided upon discharge.
