Doula licenses are for trained, nonmedical professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to pregnant women throughout and after pregnancy. Licenses are not required for individuals providing traditional healing services recognized by an American Indian or Alaska Native tribe or for individuals providing services to friends or family. Licenses are available now and will be required starting January 1, 2027. Apply for a license or renew a license by clicking the buttons above. Learn more by clicking the menu items at left.
