Prescriptive Authority

To add prescriptive authority while applying for an APRN license through https://ebiz.mt.gov/pol/, simply click “yes” to the question “Are you requesting prescriptive authority endorsement?” in addition to completing the remainder of the APRN license application.

To add prescriptive authority after you have already been issued an APRN license, please log in to https://ebiz.mt.gov/pol/ and next to your APRN license number, click the button, “All Other Options” under the Action column.  You can then choose to add the Prescriptive Authority endorsement by selecting that check box on the next screen and complete the subsequent screens. Once you submit payment, staff will receive your request and let you know what is further needed, if anything, to add this endorsement to your APRN license.
