Medication Aide II - Licensed

Medication Aide II licenses may be used in skilled nursing facility settings only.  Please see the information below for what is required during the application process.  To apply, please click the “Apply for a License” button above.

Checklist for Med Aide II application
  • The applicant must successfully pass a Board approved Medication Aide II examination at 80% or above.
  • All Montana Medication Aide II licenses renew March 31st yearly.  Renewal applications post marked or submitted online after this date are subject to additional fees.
  • $20.00
  • Must complete 6 contact hours of continuing education each annual license renewal period.  The continuing education must be in pharmacology and medication administration (See rule 37-8-423 MCA).
