Licensing Requirements & Application Checklist
Apply using outonline application for the most efficient application process. If you lack the ability to apply online you can also apply by downloading and mailing the paper application and fee.
A. Application Fee: All fees are non-refundable $150.00
B. Education Requirements:
Proof of completion of Combat Shooting Instructor Courses.
Proof of completion of a NRA Instructor shooting course or other Department-approved Instructor Course.
C. Renewal Period: January 1st through March 1st
D. Renewal Fee: Active $125 Late Renewal: $250 Inactive Renewal: 62.50
E. Other Special License Requirements:
Must show proof of completing at least one Department certified shooting course per year.
