Licensing Requirements & Application Checklist

A. Application Fee: All fees are non-refundable $80.00

B. Education Requirements:
Proof of completion of Combat Shooting Instructor Courses.
Proof of completion of a NRA Instructor shooting course or other Department-approved Instructor Course.

C. Renewal Period: January 1st through March 1st

D. Renewal Fee: Late $80  Late Renewal: $160

E. Other Special License Requirements:
Conduct at least one department-approved firearms course annually or recertify as an instructor every five years.
