Continuing Education Requirements
- Each active licensee is required to complete 4 hours of continuing education each license year.
- New licensees are exempt from the CE requirements for their first renewal.
- Licensees changing from journeyman to master plumber licenses are not exempt from CE requirements.
- Courses approved by reciprocal states are acceptable.
- Code-related courses taught by IAPMO are acceptable.
- Licensees are responsible for maintaining copies of their certificates of completion.
- A random audit of CE may be performed by the board at any time.
