Montana Administrative Register (MAR) No. 2026-94 pertains to requiring applicants to pay processing fees and background check fees to the Department of Labor & Industry rather than through other arrangements and clarifies what types of disciplinary actions will be posted to a licensee's record.
Comment period closes Friday, August 7, 2026, at 5 p.m.
On January 1, 2026, the Boards of Athletic Trainers, Occupational Therapy Practice, Physical Therapy Examiners, and Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists merged into the new Board of Physical, Rehabilitative, and Developmental Health Care Professionals. This rulemaking combines the separate boards' rules into one chapter and determines which states are considered substantially equivalent to Montana in terms of licensure standards.
