  • The Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC) is proposing rulemaking regarding dispute resolution, joint investigations, post-graduate professional experience, the national examination, and military identification.

    This statutorily required rule must pertain to the qualifications and permitted activities for unlicensed speech-language pathology and audiology aides (not assistants).

  • On January 1, 2026, the Boards of Athletic Trainers, Occupational Therapy Practice, Physical Therapy Examiners, and Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists merged into the new Board of Physical, Rehabilitative, and Developmental Health Care Professionals. This rulemaking will combine the separate boards' rules into one chapter with minor changes. An additional new rule will determine which states will be considered substantially equivalent to Montana in terms of licensure standards.
