Recent Changes and Extension for Continuing Education

The Montana Board of Massage Therapy recently adopted amendments for ARM 24.155.608 regarding licensure of out-of-state applicants, 24.155.901 regarding unprofessional conduct, and New Rules I records, and II standards of Practice.

The Board met on July 20, 2020 and motioned to extend the period for all licensees to obtain Continuing Education until December 31, 2020. The board also opted out of conducting an audit of licensee compliance with continuing education standards for the current reporting period in response to hardships created by COVID-19 public health concerns.

Please note your renewal period ends on August 31, 2020. All licensees must renew by that date to avoid any late renewal fees. The board did not extend the renewal period.

Please review the changes to ARM impacting your profession by reviewing rule notices within the Regulations menu item.
