    The statutorily required merger of the Boards of Physical Therapy Examiners, Occupational Therapy Practice, Athletic Trainers, and Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists into the new Board of Physical, Rehabilitative, and Developmental Health Care Professionals will take place January 1, 2026. Rulemaking by the new board to update and combine the separate boards' rules into one chapter will take place soon after.

  • The Physical Therapy Compact (ptcompact.org) is proposing rulemaking to clarify what investigative information warrants notification and potential termination of a compact privilege and also to clarify what counts as a home state for military members.

    Written comment must be received by Friday, December 5, 2025, at 3 p.m.

    Oral comment can be given Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 11 a.m.
