As of the rule hearing on 09/15, the plan is that medical providers who specialize in tasks related to complex care will provide training.
Complex care is specialized support provided to patients with chronic and/or long-term health conditions, intended to help them manage their symptoms and perform activities of daily living; often this involves specialized life-saving medical equipment such as feeding tubes and ventilators, but theoretically the program could be utilized for children with behavioral and developmental disabilities as well.
