Temporary Watercraft Identification
Outfitters and Guides needing temporary watercraft identification decals for immediate days may print and display temporary watercraft identification decals.

Effective October 23, 2021 Board Rules allow for online first aid certification. Logs are not required to be submitted annually to the board.

  • Applicants may be licensed with a board approved first aid course.

    New applicants for a guide license or outfitter license must have a current first aid certification from a provider on the board's list of  FIRST AID PROVIDERS, EXEMPTIONS, INDIVIDUAL COURSES

    Current guide and outfitter license holder may take a course for certification. The course must be from the board's list of FIRST AID PROVIDERS, EXEMPTIONS, INDIVIDUAL COURSES

    ***A licensed Guide applying to become a licensed Outfitter must have current first aid certification to obtain an outfitters license. Board Rule requires initial licensure to include current hands on certification for each license.

  • Outfitter records shall be maintained on forms prescribed by the department and shall contain information as required by the board. The information required, in addition to information for operations plans under ARM 24.171.520 and employment records relative to outfitter assistants under ARM 24.171.410, shall include:
