Timeshare Salesperson

In the State of Montana, a person offering timeshare units for their own account or for the account of others must be licensed as a Timeshare Salesperson unless the offering is exempt under 37-53-205, MCA.     

Timeshare Salesperson may only be licensed in Montana by: Application

  • Timeshare License Correspondence Course $25.00 Timeshare Salesperson $35.00
  • September 1 through October 31st.
  • $35.00
  • By Examination:
    1. Be 18 years of age.
    2. Complete a pre-licensing correspondence course given by the Montana Board of Realty Regulation.  The course is given upon request.
    3. Proof of 12th grade education from accredited high school or equivalent.
    4. File a completed application with the Montana Board of Realty Regulation.
    5. File a complete personal disclosure statement.
    By Real Estate Licensing:
    1. Be 18 years of age.
    2. Complete a pre-licensing correspondence course given by the Montana Board of Realty Regulation.
    3. File a completed application with the Montana Board of Realty Regulation.
    4. File a completed personal disclosure statement.
