- Examination Information: NCC (level 1 or 2 or MAC); IC&RC; Northwest Certification II; or Southwest Certification II
- Fingerprint-Background Check: LAC applicants must complete a background check through submission of fingerprints to the Department of Justice, Montana Criminal Records prior to being licensed. Results of the background check are sent directly to the department by the Montana Department of Justice.
- Renewal Period: May 2 - June 30. Late renewal is possible for 45 days. Late fees apply
- Renewal Fees: $128 active, $64 inactive
